"Letter to Obama from Proctor and Gamble VP"

This letter from a retired Proctor and Gamble Executive was written in Obama's first year in office.

I don't believe I could have written a better letter than this one.  It perfectly describes my fears as well.  This was checked out by Snopes.com and was indeed sent to Obama as well as the New York Times.  Admittedly this P&G Vice President is retired; he could never have written it while with the company.  Never the less, it certainly speaks the truth:

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA
By Lou Pritchett
Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.
You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.
You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America' crowd and deliver this message abroad.
You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.
You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.
You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.
You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.
You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.
You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.
You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.
Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Since this letter was written a dozen of Obama's czars, cabinet members and staff have uttered some of the most socialistic ramblings we've ever heard from anyone in government.

We've seen Obama continue to circumvent congress by issuing executive orders that further entangle big government into our lives.

We've seen Obama intentionally ignore our immigration laws, having ordered the Department of Homeland Security/ICE to stop deporting illegals exept felons.

A year and a half to go before we send the worst President since Carter into retirement and back to community organizing where he is more proficient.

Sad.

This is Anon-retired officere, hispanic and against illegal immigration.

I dont think I am a democrat or republican. I did hope for change but i have not seen it. I also think it is not easy to govern or control when the opposite party seems to mostly see the party benefit and ignores or gives no chance to the greater good. I am against illegal immg. and against govmt controlled health Insurance and over spending etc etc. I just realized that no matter who is at the Office, things wont change. to blame the government for everything bad that is happening is to say that if we had the other party in power things will be rousier/better. I cannot welcome 4 more years of the same. But I feel that if we have a new goverment (after the next elections), the problems will not go away. The goverment is Only in part responsible for whats wrong. They can do so much to change things around BUT not enough to actually change it.
Any candidate who claims that he/she will be able to stop illegal immg or turn the economy around, if he/she happens to WIN, he/she will find out what the current president has. It is easier said than done. i truly believe, it is beyond repair. Our country's demise is in full force and with no brakes. This will not change and cannot change under our current (political/social)environment. Sadly.

Anon, thanks so much for your thoughtful comments. With respect to the thought that no one can turn this around, there are days when I agree with you. However, I do believe the Tea Party, although a small vocal minority are actually trying to turn the country back to our traditional values. I have no idea if they will succeed but, for now, I don't see anyone else trying to implement revolutionary change. There are simply too many old time pols that have been in Washington far too long. I still have hope...what's the alternative?
