I have never lik...Boy are you feeling mellow today!<br />I have never liked the "river" analogy to life as it implies a total lack of control, like our destiny is carried in the wind and we have no choice.<br />I have been to funerals of ordinary people where over 600 showed up and others where I was the only one. Some people have a greater influence upon us<br />than others. I think the greatest gift to leave behind is encouragement.<br />Sometimes we need to just stop by the river's bank and watch it all flow by.
